Alresford

Alresford (pronounced Allsford) is a small Georgian Town and
civil parish located 7.5 miles north-east of Winchester and 12 miles south-west
of the town of Alton, known for its colour-washed houses and picturesque scenery.
It was voted Country Life's 'Favourite Market Town' in the south-east for its
specialist shops selling antiques, gifts, food, clothes for all ages,
antiquarian books, pictures, china and crafts.

Alresford is also a perfect place to walk with the beautiful
Fulling Mill and Eel House along the riverside walk, St. John's Parish Church,
the Millennium Trail and Old Alresford Pond.

Additionally, there are many lovely pubs, hotels,
restaurants, tea rooms and even a Golf Course!
