Barbury Cottage is a charming retreat tucked away in the picturesque village of Sheet, just outside the historic market town of Petersfield. From the moment you step inside, it radiates warmth and welcome, making it perfect for couples seeking a quiet escape or small families looking to spend quality time together in a peaceful setting.

The cottage comfortably sleeps four across two cosy upstairs bedrooms. The heart of the home is the snug living room with a wood burner, ideal for curling up with a book, enjoying family games, or unwinding after a long walk.

Dog owners will be pleased to know that Barbury Cottage is pet friendly, with an outdoor tap that makes washing muddy paws a breeze. Families with young children can also take advantage of the travel cot, highchair, and stair gate, all available on request.

Step through the back garden gate and you will find yourself in a park, making dog walks effortless. Please note that the garden steps leading up to the main garden are quite steep. There is also a convenient utility space by the back door with a washing machine, perfect for freshening up after a day of exploring.

One of the cottage’s greatest advantages is its location. The Queen’s Head pub sits just outside the front of the cottage, so enjoying a meal or drink out is incredibly easy. Petersfield is only a short drive away, offering a range of shops, cafes, and restaurants. For those who love the outdoors, the South Downs National Park is nearby, full of walking routes, cycling trails, and open vistas. For a change of scenery, the beaches of West Wittering are just half an hour away and are dog friendly, making a fantastic day trip for the whole family.
