South Downs Stay - Houghton

The A Barn is a spacious and beautifully designed retreat, sleeping up to six guests in three en-suite bedrooms, with the option of two additional sofa beds (£75 per sofa bed). All bedrooms feature Smart TVs and elegant finishes. Two ground-floor bedrooms open directly onto the garden, while upstairs the principal suite boasts a super-king bed, picture window with sweeping views, a roll-top bath, and a separate shower room. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and a large dining table, and the barn also offers two mezzanine areas for relaxing and watching TV. Outside, landscaped patios blend into wildflower meadows and open countryside. Dogs are welcome (£30 charge), but must be kept on a lead as the property is next to a working farm. Please note there are no stair gates and the property is not suitable for children under 4.

The Observatory is a peaceful, self-contained studio set high above the landscape, offering breathtaking panoramic views in three directions. It features a king-size bed, seating and dining area, modern shower room, and a well-equipped kitchen. A private patio with outdoor seating provides the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ever-changing views from sunrise to sunset.
