The Cottage

This charming chocolate box cottage is set within the pretty grounds of the main house, offering a peaceful and welcoming retreat.

Step through the front door into the traditional cottage style sitting room where you’ll find plenty of comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a cosy log burner set within the fireplace. Guests are very welcome to use the log burner, with enough logs provided for your first fire.

The host has taken great care to ensure the kitchen is fully equipped for easy self catering. Facilities include a washer/dryer, fridge and freezer, electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, and cafetière. The dining table is situated within the kitchen area and offers plenty of seating, making it a lovely space to relax and enjoy your meals.

The bedroom features a comfortable double bed and generous storage for your clothing. A modern shower room and a separate WC complete the accommodation.

The cottage is located in a particularly pretty semi rural setting. Guests are welcome to bring one well-behaved dog, making it ideal for enjoying the beautiful countryside walks with your four legged companion. From the cottage, Chichester is easily accessible and offers a vibrant city atmosphere with plenty to see and do. Goodwood Racecourse, home to the Festival of Speed and The Revival is also nearby making this an ideal base for attending these popular events. Just north of Chichester lies the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, home of the BBC’s The Repair Shop an absolute must-visit during your stay.
