West Emsworth House - By The Sea

West Emsworth House is a fantastic holiday home in a wonderful location, just moments from the beach and the shops, cafés and restaurants of Emsworth.

As you step inside, you’ll find a spacious sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating, the perfect place to relax and snuggle up after a day exploring the local area. Put your feet up, switch on the Smart TV and settle in with one of your favourite shows. For an extra cosy feel, there’s also a log burner to enjoy on cooler evenings.

The generous communal areas provide plenty of space for everyone to spend time together, while also offering the flexibility to split into smaller groups for games, reading or watching TV. The dining area overlooks the large, west facing garden and features a dining table comfortably seating eight guests. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy a meal prepared in the well equipped kitchen, or perhaps a takeaway from one of Emsworth’s local restaurants.

The kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable self catering stay, including a bean to cup coffee machine, mocha maker boiling water tap and toaster, all Neff appliances with dishwasher, five ring electric hob and oven and microwave. The utility room houses a washing machine, clothes airer, iron and ironing board, making it easy to keep on top of laundry during your stay.

Overlooking the garden, the large conservatory is a lovely, peaceful space to relax. Enjoy a leisurely morning coffee as the day gets started, or pour yourself a glass of something sparkling and watch the evening light fade over the garden. If you need to catch up on a little work while you’re away, there is also a quiet workspace with a desk on the ground floor.

Upstairs, you’ll find four good sized bedrooms. The spacious master suite features a double bed, a sitting area and an en suite bathroom with a freestanding bath and separate shower cubicle. There are two further double bedrooms, along with a bunk room, which share the family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle.

The garden is one of West Emsworth House’s real highlights. Large, private and west-facing, it’s a wonderful spot to relax outdoors, enjoy a morning coffee or make the most of the evening sunshine. Whether you’re gathering together for a meal or simply enjoying a quiet drink at the end of the day, it’s a lovely space to unwind.

The house is situated just a moments walk to the seafront to the west of Emsworth which is a lovely village right on the Hampshire/Sussex boarder. From the house you can walk to the village within a few minutes and the path leads all the way along the shore and around The Mill Pond to the centre . The village itself is fantastic and packed with local independent shops, bakery, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you want a real treat book yourself a table at Fat Olives, the food is out of this world! For a fabulous Sunday lunch or more casual dining the Kings Arms is within walking distance too.

For a great day out you can easily reach Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland, home of BBC's The Repair Shop, both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at GunWharf Quays which you can easily reach by car or train from Emsworth. For something a little different you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina.

Access to the races and Goodwood Motor Circuit is really easy from Emsworth making this the perfect spot to stay when you are attending The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood or The Revival.
