Through to the rear of the house there is a lovely bright kitchen dining area with a table to seat 6 where you can enjoy what you have whipped up in the kitchen or a takeaway from one of the local restaurants. The dining area looks across the lovely sunny, south facing garden where you can watch the bantams chasing each other around the garden.
The kitchen look onto the garden and the hosts have gone to every trouble to make sure there is everything guests will need to comfortably self cater for their stay including kettle, cafetiere, dishwasher, gas range hob and electric oven, microwave, toaster, fridge and freezer. The hosts have also provided a washing machine, iron, ironing board and hairdryer.
The two bedrooms are on the first floor, the main bedroom bedroom has a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. There is a lovely twin room and a family shower room.
To the rear there is an lovely shared mature and sunny east facing garden with outdoor seating, where you can sit and enjoy sunshine after a lovely walk on the shore. There are free roaming bantams in the garden. The parking for this house is on street.
This really is the ideal house to enjoy and break near the water.
The house is situated to the east of Emsworth which is a lovely village right on the Hampshire/Sussex boarder. From the house you can walk to the shore within a few minutes and footpath at the top of the road leads you to the marina and if you carry on along the path, to the centre of the village. The village itself is fantastic and packed with local independent shops, bakery, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you want a real treat book yourself a table at Fat Olives, the food is out of this world! For a fabulous Sunday lunch or more casual dining the Kings Arms is within walking distance too.
For a great day out you can easily reach Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, home of BBC's The Repair Shop, both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at GunWharf Quays which you can easily reach by car or train from Emsworth. For something a little different you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina.
Access to the races and Goodwood Motor Circuit is really easy from Emsworth making Brook House the perfect location for when you are attending The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood or The Revival.
